When I was 10 my best friend’s dad died unexpectedly. That day after being at the hospital we and our sisters sat and watched cool runnings- it may have dated a lot, but it did, for 90mins, take us away from the awfulness.

Reminds me of the game I played putting potatoes in my 18months old pockets in the kitchen, so she could run through to my bed bound husband, so he could count them out, all whilst I tried to work! Madness!
