Yeah, I pulled my order up when I was there to double check and sure enough, it was the Switch version. I was wondering if they were just feeding me some BS, but I’m glad to see i wasn’t the only one!

But now I’m like “eh, one more game I’d never get around to playing” 😂

This was a weird game. I preordered it and when I went to pick it up at Best Buy, they’d sent a PS4/5 version and they were like “we’re sorry, the UPC reads the same for both versions and this is all we have in our system” And I was never able to track down a physical version of it ever again.

Right?! 😂

These are my “yep, day 1 buys!” I like other things on here, but may wait for a sale or for a later time. But the more I sit on this Direct, the more I’m like “you know, there was some good stuff there!”

Right, GKCs are just glorified download codes, so it makes sense you’d have to even connect in the first place. But ONE internet connection. People make it seem like you have to constantly be tethered to the internet. I personally don’t like nor will buy them, but still lots of disinformation about!

You only need an internet connection the first time it’s booted up for the first time, which makes sense as you’re actually downloading the game from the internet. After that an internet connection isn’t required

Agreed. There were a few games where I was glad we finally got confirmation of release (MP4!), and I think there are some fun surprises like DQ7, Pokopia, and maybe even the Yoshi game (need to see more on that but it looks cute!), but yeah, nothing grabbed me like “HOLY CRAP I NEED THIS RIGHT NOW!”

When I tried going directly to the Silksong page from Google it wouldn’t load at all. When I went to Nintendo’s website and searched for it, the page loaded up. Not buying it just yet, so I didn’t get any further than that. Godspeed to those trying, will stay away now to free up a bit of bandwidth!
