They had months to reach out and make that statement. The matter was before the CoC team since before February. Feb 10th is when a then-member of the FDO CoC team casually misgenders Lina to her GF.

Now the COC team is sad that Lina doesn't reach out to them, after they had months?

VC bro perspective: when you try to transition from early adopters to mainstream, don’t piss off the early adopters unless you have a *very* firm grasp on mainstream. EAs bring in new users!

Like, politics aside, it’s just stupid if you want growth

Even fucking YCombinator teaches this

Yes, that is the current fashion. People are getting bored by super flat, material-3 style designs, and so designers shifted to this.

Why?
- It's brighter than the "web3" aestatic, and so you distinguish yourself from these people.
- It's more visually appealing and interesting than e.g. bootstrap

I don’t see the problem, O(n) retrieval is good after all

Huh, that’s so different from me - dang

20mg ER, twice daily basically (morning / noon, after eating)

Actual medication plan (cropped bc PII) happy to translate any part, but I think most should be clear based on contezt

The shit that I cannot stand - and I guess that is my point - is this bullshit attitude of lying and like, ugh.

The anti-intellectualism from a lot of AI people is hard to put into words.

Anyway, I’m not saying “AI training good” but instead “emotionally, this bullshit makes me hate it more”

Haven’t seen it, but I suspect that the point is similar to green’s.

Except Green gives counter-examples.

Indeed, there were tons of doctors that said that TB was a “white” disease (because we are just too pure, you know? So romantic 💕)

One of the pictures above has it, but also this part

This one is by the way an insane statistic - you’re a stats guy, so I don’t need to explain to you what a yearly death rate of 8000/100,000 means over the course of a couple years of schooling.

Huh, it works differently than I remember, and I actually don't need two render-passes, because I did manage to get the alpha channel. And that's how I distinguish the bloom, because the bloom renders with alpha = 0 for some reason.
July 27, 2025 at 2:18 PM
Yeah, totally get that. In the end, this is what I went for for my own "vtubing program"

Left half is color channel, right channel is a mask.

R = alpha (normal alpha blend)
G = idk
B = additive blend (to brighten regions)

Re-assembled in OBS using shaderfilter

I’m sure this is a cool project but wow that screenshot in the readme is subjectively and objectively bad (ugly and hard to read)

My boyfriend, a teacher, got a tshirt as a gift, with AI art; and he still enjoyed it and wears it. He knows it’s AI art, and that’s fine.

And I'd argue that some of these borders can simply outright be removed - they're just visual noise:

I don't think it's worse readability tbh - left is my mspaint edit, right is original screenshot I yoinked of internet.
