Thank you #NHKWorld for the feature. We have to keep the experiences of those who dropped the atomic bombs and those who survived them. We’ve done it once and we can do it again and the strongest deterrent we have is listening to what happens when we do.

Her grandfather survived both atomic bombs of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. My grandfather was on the planes that dropped both atomic bombs. We became friends in 2013 and have been working together since. Check out our letter series in @asahi.com

I work as a guide at Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, home to the Atomic Bomb Dome.

I was featured in a National Geographic article about 10 years ago.

Interested in a guided tour? Feel free to send me a message.

If you're worried about nuclear war, the best thing you can do is speak up against nuclear weapons! And if you need some ideas to get started on that, we're here to help 👋 www.icanw.org/take_action_... #nuclearban

Want the best day in Tokyo maybe even in Japan? Go to Yanaka. It’s an older part of town; survived the fire bombing of Tokyo. Feels like walking back in time stepping between eras of japans past.
Coffee lovers go to: Kayaba Coffee, Ignis, or Yanaka Coffee (for fresh roasted beans).
