I am currently playing the doctor career. Unfortunately none of the Sims have stripes/spots on their body. I checked without mods and it seems to be because of a mod or CC and now I have to look for the one causing the issue. Does anyone have an idea what it could be?

Was not sure for a moment but I looked it up: There was a bug where graves from deaths from neighborhood stories weren't showing up: forums.ea.com/discussions/... It was fixed. I started a new save today and can't find the graves of the 2 Sims that died 😔 I just want my game to work!

Unpopular opinion: re-releasing TS1 & TS2 and promising new updates is digging those games up from a place where there are a lot of mods to fix those errors and will introduce new bugs. EA‘s track record is to make things worse with every update.

A little tip for the Sims 2 that has helped me recently,
I've gotten so used to to flexibility of the Sims 4 and moving rooms around. The Sims 2 is more permanent than that haha. So I've been laying out some of my recent builds using floor tiles, and basic furniture before I build the walls! 😁

I am back to Sims 2. I used to play it on my MacBook and there the game crashed so often. On my PC it‘s a bliss and I think it crashed one time in total since I installed Sims 2 🙏

Though they seemed to fix one other thing I quickly tested. Sims who have gone to work won’t suddenly become visible and stand still if you travel somewhere else with a different sim during their shift and return home

I will miss you, Octavia. It was a nice farewell to play the funeral of her dog Hana. Maybe I will pick up this save again when things are less buggy.

I feel like a lot of people in the community were not fans of the event and I get why. I was genuiely exited though. It could have been a scenario for the purpose it had for me: a prompt to make a Sim and play, but after four weeks I am just done with this event and I did not complete it.
