Educating yourself and being cautious of sources and the like is the optimal solution that doesn't cover your ears to current events or leave people with genuine passions out of reach of their possible success.

Even events that started before ChatGPT and are ongoing. Putting your head in the sand is not the solution to avoiding AI I don't think. You hurt real humans who didn't have the foresight to start posting their passions before a specific day and yourself being informed about the world that way.

As nice as a slop evader sounds, by targeting a specific date only, this leaves behind new GENUINE artists, authors, etc. who didn't get into this new club of posting their creations before ChatGPT. This would also erase current news and the like and leave one less informed about current events.
