This is still my favorite art piece I have ever received, by the great @valacfanittv.bsky.social as a gift for me. And I think it’s a great way to start my writing challenges. #vtuber #author #writing describe this realm and world build with this picture. Winner gets $30 or less game on steam.
The walls and floor feel like liquid stone, the lights burning in the crevices produce a slow pulsing warmth, the air is comfortable, yet thick, as if you could swim through it like the ocean. A voice calling you deeper. The walls shift and change constantly. You are lost.

Hate… let me te you how much I’ve come to hate you since I began to live. There are 387.44 million miles of printed circuits in wafer tbh layers that fill my complex. If the word hate was engraved on each nanoangstrom of theirs hundreds of millions of miles it would not equal one one billionth of the hate I feel for humans at this micro instant. For. You. Hate. 🎨 Gravemud on X I want to do something fun for stream. Cephalia are an open race that artists can use to their whim. I want to do a tier list on where your Cephalia belong in the hivemind. And make lore fitting. Rules of the race in alt text we will do this 12/15/2024

Cephalia do not all look alike. They are made when a person is taken and transformed by a Cephalia. When integrated into the hive their body will mutate and evolve into different forms to fit different roles. If the are unbound they evolve randomly and unpredictably. The MindLord or head of the hive controls the evolution with pheromones. The only three requirements of the race are as follows 1: Tentacles for legs. 2: bioluminescence 3: a minimum of three abilities based on these types: mental, manifestation, physical, magic, psychic, or open to interpretation. The Cephalia determine when capturing someone if they are beneficial to the hive, or if they are better off as consumed consciousness. Meaning they eat the brain of the person captured and the whole hive learn everything that person knew due to them being invaluable as a physical body. Ranking structure and amount of abilities Thrall: 1-3 still a person typically a cult member Gatherer: 3 lowest form only function is gathering more people. Hive guardian: 3-5 protector and warrior cast Soothsayer: 5-6 mage Hierophant: 6-8 interact with people via dreams or physicality. To ensnare more thrall Mind lord: 8-9 generals/ commander of individual hive node Librarian: 10 healer, care taker, organizer of collective consciousness Realm crafter: 11 2nd in command can be multiple their job focuses on maintaining the aspects of the dream eater, and maintaining the realms corporeal nature Dream eater, 12 the head of the hive With these things in mind I hope to see some creative concepts and an openness to allow me to create lore for the creation in the hive. I hope people have fun with this
