🧵 A ‘WARM SUMMER DAY;” Despite @GovKathyHochul’s state of emergency declaration @CondeNast management is refusing to give our members the safety to work remotely and avoid dangerous commuting. ….

Just occurred to me that my fellow formerly messy friends haven’t posted anything chaotic on their finstas in a long while. We found peace, girls.✨

Egg production is only down about 4% from last year, but prices have more than doubled.

While the industry blames bird flu, critics are accusing the largest egg companies of price gauging.

They point to the fact that corporate profits have soared in recent months.

Idk if I’m more horrified by the few men silencing women at town halls or the many men silently sitting and watching it happen.

Sometimes I feel like Wyna Liu effectively says, “Come on—you know! Items heavily featured in Tin Cup (1996) featuring Kevin Costner and Rene Russo! Duh! What are you, some kind of idiot dumb face numb scull?!”

We wait in line for phone pods. We hold meetings while Avicii blasts over the speakers & people eat sandwiches in the background of our Zooms. This is not professional, & it’s certainly not productive.

Join us in telling Condé that workers deserve flexibility!

Condé Nast management will start requiring employees to be in the office 4 days a week on 3/3, allegedly to make us more productive. Yet for months, many of us have gone without desks, often being forced to work from the cafeteria, HR floor or hallways.

As of 3/3, @CondeNast is enforcing a 4-day Return To Office policy to enhance “productivity." This plan will have the opposite effect.

We have detail-oriented jobs that operate on tight deadlines. Condé sold office space during the pandemic, so most of us don’t have our own desks.
