For sure, and to me it's just another one of the many missteps that kept me from getting a Switch 2.

But I didn't like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Not having the ability to play without items is a deal breaker for me. I don't like playing great and then getting blown up 5 times in the final turn.

It works okay in the Need For Speed games, although I won't lie--most of the time I'm just driving from one race to the next. NFS games, though, don't have neat tracks that are the primary draw of the game.

And then Nintendo patched out the workaround players were using to not do the highways.
