Recently my cat, Chameleon, has taken to sitting in my father‘s recliner whenever he’s not using it. I’ve never seen her do this in all the time that I’ve had her, but she looks so proud of herself. My 4 dogs, who are much bigger than her, are too scared to make her move.

I don’t get to go on a trips purely for fun a lot with both my parents and my brother just due to how busy life can be for all of us so it was awesome to be able to take this trip with my dad.

Dad and I had some time to kill after the hike so we ended up doing some touristy stuff in Pigeon Forge. 1st up was the Titanic Museum. Fun fact. That staircase was built using the actual blueprints from the Titanic so it’s 100% legit.

Apparently, it’s pretty common to see black bears on the trail we hiked on. Luckily though since it’s pretty public as long as you, you know, don’t feed the wildlife you really don’t have anything to worry about.

We also ended up going hiking at Cade’s Cove. Round-trip it’s about a four hour hike on very rocky rough terrain. Plus, it’s active black bear country.

My dad and I took a short trip earlier this week to Tennessee. We stayed in a cabin up in a mountain just outside of Pigeon Forge. The view was amazing!

Thank you. I wanted to explore a concept that was very different than what you usually see with snake demon OCs. Fun fact! Hawker is actually meant to be based on a Blunt Headed Tree Snake. I love these little weirdos.

Fun fact about me. I really like collecting Chinese blind box figures. This is the Sleep Chinese Scrolls Series. Bought them from a website called KikaGoods. I actually got the Super Secret from this set. And bought a limited edition one separately. They’re really pretty.

One cute thing that happened was when the hotel staff came to clean our room while we were gone they lined all of my Rocket Raccoon plushies I brought with me up on the bed. 💞🥺

My dad is an active skateboarder so he DEMANDED that we go to check out a skateboard shop in the French Quarter. We got a lot of stickers from it and they were all free.

I was walking around on a busted leg during the trip because I fell out of a tree a week prior, but I still had a great time. Some of my mom‘s old friends live in New Orleans and showed us a lot of the fun local spots rather than touristy stuff. One place was a sculpture garden.

Today is my dad‘s birthday. He’s a very stoic guy, doesn’t really show his emotions, but he’s funny, tough, and ALWAYS been there for me, my brother, & our mom. No matter what.
My b-day is next week & he & I love the same kind of cake. Lemon cake with chocolate frosting.
