Experiencing the stages of grief as my service program was defunded on Monday. I was set to end my year of service on the 5th anyway and start in a Director position at my county's largest food pantry on the 6th. Thankfully, this new role is privately funded but my heart is still broken.

I miss learning about what BIPOC folks in the indie TTRPG space are doing and have just followed so many folk.
So yeah. Hi! I'm Ari! I will one day get around to getting back on side projects but for now I'm a lurker. My day to day is mostly food security work and community care.

Y'all check on your gov worker friends.
With the pending government shutdown, I still plan and want to work but won't get paid during the period of the shutdown. I love and work hard doing food security and food justice related work but it's also just another layer of distress during a scary time.

We said goodbye to our last elder today. Zuni (bottom left) said goodbye. Flying from Socorro, NM to Winthrop, MA, he filled me and my family's life with love and shenanigans from when I was 18 to my early 30s. 'til next time lovelies. May we take care of each other again. ♥️🐾

I've been trying to doodle more ... and I started working on this last night. Unfortunately, my iPad died and corrupted the original document lol so I probably won't be working on it again, BUT I did remember that I had saved a png version close to when I was finished with it

It's my fiance's birthday month and she wanted me to draw/ paint something for her. So I decided to dig up some things and an old sketch and we are going to try and make this look nice. I think the last time I painted was last year. 😭
