Still keeping up my focus on playing as many indies as I can this year 🙌🏻 This time I took a break from my backlog and tackled a new one - Blue Prince. As soon as I saw the previews for this game and heard the words “rouge lite puzzle game” it was an instant buy for me.

Back on the indie grind 🔥 I spent the first chunk of the year diving into Hollow Knight for the first time! I know it’s a crime I’ve never played it before, but platformers and metroidvanias always intimidated me. Really glad I built up the courage to jump in, and I’ve sunk many many hours in haha

Lots of work getting done on the Comanche! I’ve been chipping away at a new clutch and hydraulic system. Hoping it’ll be back on the road soon 🙏🏼

Game number three from the indie backlog, Planet of Lana! Not my usual genre of game, but I had heard excellent things and I’m really glad I picked it up! An interesting sci-fi story told exclusively through environmental cues and fun gameplay mechanics as you team up with a cute lil cat companion.

The second indie I tackled from my backlog was The Last Campfire, and wow this might sneak its way into being one of my favorite games of all time. What a beautiful piece of art. Fun puzzles, compelling dialogue, and themes around mortality that really pull your at heartstrings.

One of my goals for the new year is to prioritize playing more indies. So I set myself a goal to play at least 10 indie games from my backlog. First one I jumped into was Firewatch, and I really enjoyed it! Beautiful visuals and a really interesting narrative.

After a long time searching for one, I bought my dream truck! 1986 Jeep Comanche 🙌🏻 Excited to start restoring it

I haven’t been able to stop thinking about this since I saw that trailer at the game awards. This is all I will be doing over the holiday break 🙌🏼

The D2 community made a “Destiny Wrapped” feature and the results are about what I expected haha
