I worry about elections as well, but I think little by little pushback is growing. R's are finally realizing he is more toxic to their power & their $$. He is old, tired & demented, his power wanes, but we will surely have to take action to change & guard against the power hungry, rich, & old boys

He did the smart thing, IMHO. He accomplished much in diminishing trump & for the moment making NY less a battleground as trump intended. OFC, Diaper Don will change his mind many times, but Mamdani controls the pair and probably will continue to, tho the TACO man will continue his ways as well

Trump may wish, but is not a dictator. We are still a democracy, though it's a very shaky period. trump does sit in the oval office & Mamdani will very much need to deal with the orange turd. It did not normalize him, Mamdani made him look like an idiot to both sides, from his position of strength

The two aren't comparable.
Mandani never conceded anything to trump. Trump conceded much. He even called him fascist to his face. Yes he played nice w/a dictator on camera, but stood his ground against him & made the dictator look like a fool, exposed him. A small blow maybe, but a blown nonetheless
