Lake Krystal is a giant quarry pond next to Krystalvale. Gobidium crystal is mined from the nearby Mount Glass, and the size of the lake attracts many tourists every year.

Fun fact: this is the town where Ebyana will make her debut in the novel! 😍

If this is still open, here's my OC Ebyana's outfit for your consideration 🥰

There are a couple of non-binary side characters like Yanine and Zabulikki (shown in the picture).

The main character Sandrin (later Sandrine) comes out as trans during the story.

In summer Sandrin often visited the seaside town of Shayonsville and the Great Lake of Hawenwall as a child, but otherwise he has no special connection to water.

It's not very important to the main story, but there's a lake in the country of Glordia called Midmount Lake, or as the locals call it, Roygohn Zeevah.

Four families live along the shore of the lake, constantly fighting over the island in the middle.

The main villain in book one is Queen Xuntron. She practices necromancy—which many consider to be the darkest magic—breaking the very rules of nature. She, however, considers herself to be the protector of life itself.
