Yeah it's definitely put a downer on the game for me. A slight conflict of interest too since I'm a Sonic Rumble Partner and I have a referal code but I don't want anyone using it on a £54.99 skin!

Movie pass I'd put down to them seeing fans who couldn't play yet asking for the event to be repeated after launch. They've just done it a little too close.

I'm imagining that going forward it'll just be a main season pass that last like 50-60 days or w/e and then the occational event pass.

I would say the Sonic 3 movie event being back is simply because they missed the initial launch window and alot of fans were very vocal about not wanting to miss out on any pre season events / characters.

I can see why. I played it yesterday & it's a cool mini game festival. Love the designs & surprised at all the Lost World representation but it's getting buried by monetisation choices.

There's no way anyone should be spending £45.99 on bundle of Red Star rings that'll barely get you a skin on sale

Yeah. On one hand I'm really glad I got in and made the cut. On the other I'm disappointed there's only 2 of us.

I'd love to know what their selection process for remote runs is because I was fully expecting 2026 onwards to have none so it's nice to still have some but I do wish there were more.
