And they did it again in Dawntrail! Granted in that one there was more running and places to hide this time, and it was much shorter but still!

Tailing missions in MMOs specifically. Specifically the one in Endwalker of FFXIV’s MSQ. So many people failed and complained about it that they had to put in a visual marker to show the range of the NPC’s vision, not to mention it was a slog of running and stopping to hide behind a random rock.
