Interesting. Playing a little bit more centrally and dropping into the pockets to receive and then driving, a little bit like what Cunha does.

You only had to watch him flapping around on boxing day to see that despite his best efforts, he's just not good enough.

I'd have taken being top 10 this season, top 8/6 next season, top 4 season after that etc. Too many (even people on here) just want to win today and not think about what's coming tomorrow.

Well exactly. How is it more complicated than ANY dressing room where young men are getting paid 200/300k a week.

He's mentioned this so many times. There must be more to it than just the usual ego and unhappy players, the ones not in the team etc. It sort of annoys me how he always just says it and doesn't elaborate.

In my opinion, in the most basic terms, not enough goals and a poor defence. We have fixed one of these issues, so things are better. Add to that, the team are more adapted to the manager's system.

Top 8. I don't care what European competition that gets us into, for me that's not the point. Last season we finished 15th, if we can finish 8th this season, with our new attack looking good then it has to be seen as progress. Then address other areas and keep improving. It's not a quick fix.

My Chat GPT still thinks ETH is United manager. I've given up trying to ask it football questions now.

I'm sat just out of shot on the left, 2 rows back from the front. My heart sinks every time I turn back and see these dickheads dressed head to toe in club merch on their phone throughout the game.

If, and it's a big if, he can play LWB, then maybe that brings a new dimension to this team. He's available now, he's affordable, he's top quality. I can see the logic.

But he will go down as a Manchester United great, a club legend. Would he swap that for trophies at a different club? I'm not so sure.

Oh ok. Damn.

I think Amorim struggles with the word 'struggle' and never uses it in context.
December 15, 2025 at 10:14 AM
I'm reading this thinking "Surely he's not playing tonight??" And if he was, it wouldn't surprise me. But surely not, he'll be too old now surely.

*Yep just checked he's 52!

It's almost funny that to eastern Europeans, gay = bad. It's just so irrational and needless. Same when Matic covered the pride thing on his kit. Why? What do you think is going to happen to you?
December 9, 2025 at 6:00 PM
I don't think Garnacho is good enough to be starting for a club like ours. Mainoo should be featuring more but unfortunately this season with the lack of games it's going to be tough.
December 6, 2025 at 12:29 PM
I completely get the point but they've got to be good enough, otherwise, it's us who are missing the point. Any academy can throw players into the first team for the sake of it or to keep a record going or whatever. Attitude and quality is what sets us apart. They're not showing it.
December 6, 2025 at 8:16 AM
I think, and I suppose it's a human reaction in a sense, that these refs have it in their heads that they're going to 'big bad United' that they remember from their youth, and they almost want to 'show' everyone, look at me, I'm not intimidated. And it empowers them to not give United some decisions

Thing is a lot of that probably isn't even from real people. Hopefully this brings a shift and people stop using that nonsense.
