Zlatý kůň, whose remains were found ~230 km away from Ranis, was also part of the same group, which suggests she was producing LRJ type tools. The absence of additional Neandertal ancestry in this group is interesting, as they overlapped with Neandertals temporally and spatially. (16/n)

To summarize, we present the two oldest high-coverage modern human genomes sequenced to date, representing an extinct group that split first from the Out-of-Africa population. We show that they were a small, genetically distinct group with close genetically related individuals. (15/n)
