People have started to receive the Limited Run Games' Dreamcast 25th Anniversary trading cards. This is the least obfuscated version of the FamitsuDC art, top right corner. Although Dreamcast, only Aika erroneously uses Legends GameCube art. Photo from eBay.

Interestingly, I recently found out this custom Dreamcast illustrated by Itsuki Hoshi (@yumyum7.bsky.social) is owned by someone probably in Italy. This was featured as a giveaway in Dreamcast Magazine 2000/11/17. It's neat to see it's in someone's possession after all these years!

Isapa is likely named after Izapa, a pre-Columbian archaeological site in Mexico. The Japanese transcription for Izapa is "イサパ (Isapa)", similar to how Ixa'taka's Japanese name, Montezuma, has the Japanese transcription モクテスマ(Montesuma).

The potential intended spelling of Valua could be Balua. On the Arcadian language of this wallpaper, Valua is consistently referred to as Balua. However, there's a Spanish word, Baluarte, which means bulwark or fortress, which lines up with Valua having an impenetrable fortress.

On Tara, one of the Ixa'ness Demons, there appears to be an error on her spear UVs. The two rectangular cuboids, a common accessory on Ixa'takans, appears to display the wrong part of the texture. Looking at the UVs, it seems they're offset in the U direction by about 0.25.

In the Japanese Dreamcast Magazine and Dorimaga, there have been two depictions of Zivilyn Bane with the treasures they're guarding, and two depictions without their mask, likely illustrated by official Skies of Arcadia staff. Note the treasures were changed during localization.

They also mention they're trying to greenlight a character planned for Figgyz Skies of Arcadia Wave 2 as a statue. Hamachou Hermit fans are gonna be eating good.

In the Eternal Arcadia Kuzokuban, you can trigger flavor text on the overworld with the waterfall and fire breathing rock. This flavor text was removed in the Skies of Arcadia Trial Edition. The final game also does not contain generic flavor text for the overworld.

In Pirate Isle Underground Port, in the Captain's Room, Dyne has two pictures on the dresser behind his chair. On the left is a picture of his wife, and on the right is a picture of two Grouders (アーアペプ), an enemy which can be found in Mid Ocean and Shrine Island.

In the NTSC-J version of Skies of Arcadia, Dyne has a cigar, which was censored out in all future versions. Looking at the cigar, it appears to be very long, going deep into his head where it normally can't be seen. This was likely done to save on poly count, saving 3 polygons.

Ok after looking at it a little longer I think it's a human and not a mermaid. I had a difficult time discerning the right leg

Speaking of ships, the Claudia has a pretty interesting design at the bow of the ship. I guess it's a mermaid with a spear? A little hard to make out what's going on in some parts, but I think those are nipples on that design.

A size comparison of Crescent Isle above ground, the Little Jack, the Claudia, and the Delphinus. I am not sure how the Delphinus fits in that island, and the Claudia is surprisingly large!

According to a 2019 Skies of Arcadia developer interview, early in development, Vyse had white pants. There's only one known screenshot that was released by defunct gaming website themagicbox of Vyse with white pants. Some concept art by Shin'ichi Morioka also aligns with white pants.

Within the Skies of Arcadia game data, there isn't a internal status effect name for Stone, but there is one called Doll. The Stone icon looks similar to a doll, and, although conjecture, it's possible Fina's Lunar Glyph had the ability to control similar to Silver Nightmare.
