Metal doesn't have a lot of pokemon in general, just mawile, pawniard, bisharp, meltan, and melmetal. I use 2 of each and the pidgey line for my deck. I just hope to get more when we get new packs

I love golurk too and he's ky heavy hitter in my psychic deck...but nine times out of ten I use my metal deck, melmetal uses 4 energy as well but more reliable and no coins

I know the feeling. I try to avoid cards with coin effects cause it's just bullshit. I lose almost every coin flip or my opponent gets 10+heads with misty.
