A CROWN OF IVY AND GLASS by Claire Legrand 📱

- I LOVED this. Novel plot (for me), and beautiful depth to characters. Was definitely a bit tough to read but I loved how it explored difficult concepts and how well paced and clearly painted the world was. Excited to read the next book!

A FIRE IN THE SKY by Sophie Jordan
- I was pretty disappointed. It hooked me in but each time, the plot diverts into a direction I didn't expect and it wasn't a pleasant diversion. The plot was overall wonky and not well executed, and left me wanting it to be done better

A DEADLY EDUCATION by Naomi Novik 📱
- I already did a review on tt, but this book, for all its annoying dialogue and descriptions does have some sort of charm that's addictive and makes me want to try and finish the series. I wouldn't go out of my way to re-read though

TOGETHER WE BURN by Isabel Ibanez

It was OK! I wanted the relationship with the dragons to be more friendship rather than arena fighting, but I loved the guts the FMC has. The misogyny drove me crazy though, oh to be a woman 🫠

1. A CRANE AMONG WOLVES by June Hur

This was my most anticipated read, it reminded me of a historical kdrama and pleasantly surprised me with its character development! First time I've ever fully followed politics in asian-setting fantasy books, strongly disliked the FMC but end up rooting for her!

My family and I went cherry picking today!!
The past few weeks have been very stressful and unpleasant for me, so I'm very grateful to be able to unwind with my loved ones and be reminded that there's more outside troubles.

Hope everyone had a good weekend! 😆🍒

👑 A Crown of Ivy and Glass 🌿 by Claire Legrand
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Plot was very interesting and engaging! It did feel a bit difficult to read, but it suited the setting and was paced super well
