Pure unadulterated horseshit. You think "Dems" made trans stuff a national referendum? GOP bigots did that. Yes, Dems and esp Harris flailed, and Dems generally hobbled by respect for facts and ethics, but make no mistake, the trans thing was a GOP op, not something Dems as a whole insisted on.

I'll enjoy it while it lasts, I guess. But this raises another difference- it's entirely legitimate to label Johnson as an extremist, and it was always deranged nonsense to call Pelosi one.

I remember during the W and Obama years, right-wingers would periodically discover some random family law judge was interpreting muslim law, or a muslim couple had agreed to have their marriage adjudicated by an islamic judge, and there'd be a whole freak out about sharia taking over our country.
