Not sure what was harder tonight. Taking my 13 year old to her uncles wake, or the 18 month old. However, 13 fully supported her cousin and it was wonderful to watch. Little man was adorable and smiling at everyone making a sad event a little lighter.

While I typically watch mass instead of attending in person, my safe church is no longer safe. The amazing priest we have is being reassigned and the priest who denied my annulment is coming to my parish. I’m devastated.

My almost 13 year old still believes in Santa and the Easter Bunny. This is probably the last year, but I’m holding onto that innocence with everything I have.

Realizing family holiday traditions are changing is really hard at 42. So blessed to have had so many holidays with my grandma, but still struggling knowing little man won’t have the same experience as his older sister.

@americanair.bsky.social I’m a bit frustrated since you cancelled my flight yesterday, yet today when checking in for the rescheduled flight had to PAY AGAIN for seats. I don’t want my daughter sitting somewhere besides next to me and my infant. No promises to sit us together without paying.

ANYWAY, did you know there's an extension you can put on Chrome that will connect with your local library system and when you go look at a book, say on AMZ, it will tell you if that book exists in the library system and if it's available?

My grandma is 93. For the first time in my life we aren’t having Thanksgiving together or our family Christmas party. I get it. But little man is 6 mo and will never experience the joy of a holiday at great grandmas. Blessed she’s here, but heartbroken. 💔

When 12 was a month old she met her great grandpa (95). He smiled and asked me where I got her. Little man has been around his great grandma (93) his whole 6 months of life. Last night she asked if he was mine. Dementia sucks. Hug them while you can. 💔

Gymternet…I’m old lol. Working a hs bb game and they just played Devil Went Down to Georgia. None of my coworkers were born when that iconic routine was performed. 👵🏻
