Seed oils are not bad for your health and are being misrepresented. Canola oil ismy go to aling with olive oil.

With volunteers, made chicken soup today with beautiful Canadian chicken, vegetables and barley. Portioning to go to food baskets, care of the West Island Women's Centre.

As I try to eat in a more sustainable way, as well as get more fibre in my diet, I am eating more pulses: dried legumes like lentils, chickpeas, split peas and beans. Check out this interesting tidbit from Pulse Canada:

I proudly use Canadian canola oil in much of my baking. It is much higher in omega 3 fatty acids and lower in omega 6 fatty acids than many other vegetable oils. Omega 6 fatty acids have been linked with inflammation. And canola is a major crop in Canada!
