There is definitely a balance to strike but I don't want to win because my opponent didn't have information. I try and cover the big rules at the beginning of the game and I will provide reminders for big things like strikes first etc.

I can see that haha! Godeater's Son is great way to make the world feel real. I also strongly recommend Gloomspite which shows the horror in the setting and that the Mortal Realms can be just as dark as 40k or the Old World

Age of Sigmar has some incredible stories, its an incredible setting once you start exploring it.
