...but some white nationalists are in league with the Hindu Nationalists. Seems there is a larger global coalition here that Bannon wants to limit to a "Pox Americana" rather than widen the focus to Europe & the Far East.

It was a knife in the back the first time. This time we saw it coming & didn't effectively block it. Our side DID make significant unforced errors. We got too used to prosecutors prosecuting with their presumption of process while we lost the art of pressing our point on the public soapbox!

They've blunted the effectiveness of our communication as we've increasingly lost touch with how critical good communication is. We ceded AM radio as old hat.. podcasts were more relevant then we slipped behind in podcasting effectiveness & other social media!

The rest of us need to start discussing some ownership of the "rolling stock" & "livable properties" on both planets. Huddling in RVs in a Martian windstorm will be a real drag 200 years from now!

whatever the barriers.. I think an exciting mission in 10-15 years with some ongoing scientific work could serve as a prelude to Mars with the mission orbiting Venus as allowing positioning of assets that could travel to Mars from a shorter distance when both planets are closer than Earth & Mars

I'd rather see NASA take back some of the mission "pie" here& focus on a mission to VENUS... The planet is a hellscape but it is possible that a mission to a mountaintop or a high altitude rendezvous in dirigibles..temps in 140s, Earth like pressure, astronauts needing air supply... HAVOC PROPOSAL..
