The due unto others, as you would have others do unto you could’ve really been the whole book. I'm partial to Zen, there’s no doctrine, and as soon as you think you understand it, you most certainly don’t, and to me that’s the only thing that makes sense;)

It’s one thing to rearrange the deck chairs on the Titanic; it’s entirely another to steer it towards an iceberg.

For the critically thinking person science has shrunk the world of religion down to at best spirituality, which doesn’t really mean anything except perhaps that you acknowledge that there is a universe. Ad it is said some eastern religions, it happens of itself.

Ideally… I study Buddhism & Zen, but as a practice rather than a religion. I find Eastern philosophies fascinating, but I don’t consider myself Buddhist or anything else because I part ways when any religion invokes gods or any sort of hocus pocus. I don’t claim to know anything; nor should they.

I looked it up, “The bird in the image is an anhinga (Anhinga anhinga), also known as a snakebird or water turkey.” … literally a bird I’ve never heard of;)

I think the bird at the end is a kingfisher, I could be mistaken, but I think those are the ones that do a lot of underwater swimming so dry their wings a lot. I am no expert.

There have been many divorces over politics. It seems to me, if she’s not political, then she shouldn’t be believing what comes out of his mouth. She is definitely political, she’s just paying attention to the wrong things. I hope you guys can sort that out.
