Omg when it became “you can’t let the chick imprint on you!” I lost it 😂

I frequently get Sophies & Pipers confused for some reason? My name is unusual & I would always get called Erin or Adrienne. I couldn’t really understand, since Arden doesn’t look much like either of those names, until I realized people were thinking of the male spellings (Aaron/Adrian).

Oh my GOSH, perfect name, I ADORE it. Congrats to all!! (But most especially you, for picking and/or convincing your husband on a great name.)

Yep. I still feel like I need to keep my frozen embryos, even though doing so is expensive & we are definitely done having kids, because WHAT IF something happens to my kids??

We also lost mac & cheese from our extremely limited list of safe foods & it was a big loss. After a several month break, we’ve had some success in reintroducing it. So all hope might not be lost?

I first liked it because I also love Agatha Christie! My husband & I eventually agreed on Iris (he probably didn’t realize I suggested it because of an Agatha Christie character), but I think that one’s up in the top 100 now 🙄.

I firmly believe Agatha is due for a comeback. (My husband disagreed, then it didn’t end up mattering because we had all boys.) But please, someone— name your baby Agatha!

I was obsessed with Get Smart as a young kid. Watched it all the time on Nick at Night. Is it streaming somewhere now?

I saw the David Lynch news & instantly thought, “Guess we really will never get any more Mindhunter.” Took half the day to realize that was the wrong David “inch.”

I’ve always felt like this was a look at how not-great of a parent Stripe is? He basically makes the same mistake Bluey makes in “Kids,” praising a kid for being her favorite, and she’s a 6yo. He’s always telling his kids what they want to hear, w/o thinking through the consequences.

Def one of the worst— I had to make my 4yo wear mittens to go inside to pick up his little brothers from daycare 🤦‍♀️

I took my twins to their 18mo well check a few weeks ago & their pediatrician talked to me for less than 60 seconds before diagnosing me with walking pneumonia. A real parenting high/low point for me.

I say, “Oh man, there’s songs” about preschool entertainment all the time. I also tend to grumble, “the hardest of all cakes” when my kids ask for something as ridiculous as a duck cake.
