I am an Associate Professor at Murdoch University in the School of Allied Health. I mostly research sports injury prevention and look after learning and teaching for the school as the Associate Dean.

What is also neglected is that at some point we should be asking students to do it face to face and when they have used ChatGPT though the degree they cant do it
I gotta say I find a lot of AI discourse around higher ed very confusing. "if ChatGPT can write your essays is college even worth it?" did people think math teachers were assigning problem sets because *they* couldn't figure out the answers?

I really see this working at a uni that attracts students who should be on Youth Allowance - yet the number of students who are is tiny.

My generation (uni early 2000s) and older look back fondly on uni days but I am not sure this generation will
