Yes I'd love to do this. I spent a decade intertviewing/podcasting for the Barbican and alongside this I wrote article for their guide and programme notes. I specialise in classical music and post classical music. I worked at ClassicFM then with various orchestras. www.daylightmusic.co.uk/beneshmade

Our 2025 Crowdfunder ends today. This money is allowing us to bring you event in Leytonstone & Isligton this Autumn (with plenty more to come till Dec), but if anybody would like to give any extra final support as always it would mean a lot.

Who should play our 400th Edition this December?

It's been a very bump few editions with audience numbers. An important part of our existence depends on the generosity of the PWYC entry. Our 2025 Crowdfunder closes on Saturday - any additional support at this stage would make a difference.

Does anyone know of any #Islington listing sites, groups, pages etc where I should be posting Saturday's Daylight Music event on? Our 3rd back in Islington at St Mary Magdelene (Holloway Road), 5 mins walk from Highbury & Islington station. Or anywhere here, there or anywhere I can promote it?? Ellp

In one week we're back in Islington. The beautiful part of London where we began, grew and developed as a series over a decade. We return to our new N7 HQ - the very beautiful settings of St Mary Magdelene (3 mins from Highbury & Islington station)

I probably shouldn't mentioned instagram here, but quite amazed we've reached 3,000 followers on there.

If we had 3,000 people at every event I could retire from posting, postering, fundraising and all the boring stuff!

It's Bandcamp Friday - when people are kind, generous and supporting of the grassroots record industry.

Perhaps...perhaps...instead of an album why not invest in a ticket for a live music event? Our community series depends on an audience.

Plenty to come: buytickets.at/arcticcircle

This new photos is now one of my all time favs from Daylight. Jim (Bishop) is such a superstar. It's the small thing that make the event sometimes. The organ sets the scene. Photo by Paul Hudson.
