that seems oddly merciful for this type of game. if there were a timed mode in something like Enter the Gungeon, it probably would just be instant death. lol

alright, so, with how short that part is, i though some good CG was used because of the vaguely unnatural movement of the monster face. practical effects was not on my radar! also, i hate anything like this needs to be clarified for things made before "AI" could scrape the semblance of a human form.

One reason I highlight this, aside from the project lead calling himself an "AI Soulcaster" as uncanny as that seems, is that people kept telling me before that mihoyo would never do anything weird or untoward with genAI despite Cai Haoyu doing that with his projects because "he left the company."

wow, im genuinely shocked to hear that. i cant even think of a comparative, that is just baffling. i guess its great the results of the "hype up" were two good games and not two terrible games.
