I built a hot spring in my homestead already. But I'm using the regular fountain, so this looks like it would be the PERFECT upgrade for me.

Personally, I can't keep track of a board state, so I'm fine with this being on Arena only.

These are my picks. Emperor of Bone exiles every turn, reanimates any creature you want, and uses finality counters for another exile. Cling to Dust triggers Ketramose twice per escape and is repeatable. And Pariah is nice with Indestructible.

It’s too dangerous ground to tread because a card like that would invalidate deckbuilding restrictions. If I had to choose, it would be something severe like “your life total minus 1”. Outside of that, 13 could be a thematic choice that prevents more than one use without other effects.

Maybe {1}{C}. Urza’s Cave already searches for any land for {3}, but can produce mana and has the land enter tapped. {2} might be too easy and adding a {C} in there reins in the manabase.

I can wait a little longer before freeing Nicol Bolas. Though, with Omenpaths, he wouldn’t even need a spark to go to other planes.
