So on any given turn you can cast a spell, or you can attack twice. In a damage-focused game like 5th Edition D&D, that's a rough choice to make.

I'd say my least favorite is Armorer Artificer. Its kit conflicts with itself in an unpleasant way.
I haven't gotten to try all the classes, so I can't claim a favorite sadly.
