A lot of imagination and tries to come up with something unique. I did it while trying to make the map geologically believable, so mountain ranges at the seams of tectonic plates. And mountains that branch from them. The map I drew using a regular pencil on a A3 paper. But took me 4 days to do it XD

Try it, and just sketch, but not for someone’s approval, just for yourself, and from drawing all the time or just a lot you will get much better at coming up with ideas and drawing techniques! btw your art is also amazing!

But I think they are developed and are just like baby kangaroos sitting in a pocket, but here maybe mother uses them as a living shield, honestly I don’t know but I think concept is amazing!

I honestly don’t really know! The way I came up with this (and previous creature) is I was just scribbling until I saw in those scribbles a silhouette and then went into detailing it, until I created the creature on top. Based on this I drew the rest of the page.

Well my first post shows a map of a fantasy world which is called Tremlen. I am in process of writing a book and in my artwork I am showing something from that world, creating an atmosphere and foundation for a book. Still the book is in planning stage, but I hope soon I will get to writing ^^

Thank you! It is really a bit huge, and terrifying, when thinking about. If you hit it in a belly it is critically injured, but if it is a female… Belly is getting ruptured and a lot of baby Crystalopedes are getting out and attacking you, like spiders, terrifying…
