All these workshops and auditory investigations have led to the soundscape of SONIC MIGRATION!

So join us Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th October, 12-4, and experience it for yourself - before the Green Huts are lost forever.
October 1, 2025 at 12:54 PM
Akila Richards (Writing our Legacy) used movement and physical connections to the huts and Seaford Beach to invite reflections on what home means and how we listen to each other.
October 1, 2025 at 12:54 PM
Spending time listening and connecting in both the original (Seaford) and current (Lewes) hut locations was central to the project's focus of deep listening.

Edwina Livesey from the Green Huts project shared stories of the soldiers stationed nearby and would have used the Green Huts as a chapel.
October 1, 2025 at 12:54 PM
The Green Huts started as a WW1 chapel in Seaford before migrating to Lewes. They are reaching the end of their colourful lives.

Using microphones and imagination, local young artists have been deepening to their connection to history and the experiences of people who used the huts.

🎧 THIS WEEKEND: Step inside The Lewes Green Huts and experience a powerful sound sharing event created by young artists in collaboration with artist Simon James.
