Hmm! Verdade. Talvez por ter sido ano passado, mas como não daria pra ele estar no do ano passado, em teoria ele deveria ser indicável pra o desse ano... talvez tenham se esquecido? Bizarro, mas é a única explicação plausível.

Não joguei em pt-BR, vou mudar na próxima sessão pra dar uma olhada. E tá ficando bom o bichinho! Uns bugs esquisitos aqui e ali, mas no geral parece ser um jogo de gerenciamento de qualidade. Espero que o EA seja produtivo pra vocês!

Eu costumo seguir apenas o conceito de "Tem editora na frente". Confesso que o caso de Clair Obscur é meio complicado pq começaram sozinhos, mas ainda receberam dinheiro da editora anos antes de terem o jogo pronto, o que pra mim configura não ser "independente". Mas é tudo sempre subjetivo.

...yet some people would not be able to do this fast enough. I mean, shooting a zombified loved one. Even though I can promptly abandon a franchise that pivots to GenAI, I would probably die for my zombified son, but I digress. Sure, the sooner someone abandons genAI, the better.

I can see some sense into both approaches. Let the pirating option exists for people that are heavily invested on a franchise that starts using GenAI, so they can gradatively let go of said franchise.

Indeed, but at the same time I don't think we should cut the TGA any slack for any reason. They make all sorts of absurd decisions all the time, it just happens that nominated games will always feel wrong for some people.

It's hard to know if there were any other better option at this point... and I don't even know if there's anyone to blame? Maybe everyone involved, or even no one. At this point I think that the CSII that was supposed to be was never really feasible with current conditions.

I think the way to navigate through the industry going forward is finding your niche. It doesn't necessarily means going after a single genre, but more about cultivating our fanbase. There's no future on trying to go bigger with each new game.

Oh damn, I hate having to watch any video to learn something. I can't stand even watch videos to entertain myself on phone, while my wife don't like to have to read almost anything. And we're 8 years apart. The improvement of bandwidth made some serious hidden behavior changes on our society.

Man, what a sad day... Recettear was probably the game that turned management games into my favorite genre. Even though most people never care for those things, are pioneers like him that keep this industry improving and growing meaningfully.
