At full time, the travelling Valerenga fans did a conga to the tune of Heigh Ho. When in Rome… 😁

It gets better. Coach Nils Lexerod was suspended for tonight’s game at Roma. So not being allowed on the bench, it meant that at half time, with Valerenga leading 1-0, he came over to the away fans and started up a few chants 🤣🤣
November 11, 2025 at 11:35 PM
Got to work on a great story tonight for Disney+. Valerenga’s first ever main stage win in the Women’s Champions League, a surprise 1-0 victory away to Roma.

And the person leading their celebrations with the fans post-game? The team chef, John Katambayi. Team spirit! 🥹

“The coach always says you have to watch Harry Kane.”

Union Berlin’s Danilho Doekhi is a goal-scoring menace. Scored another two in their draw v Bayern Munich. Up to six for the season in all comps. Asked him about his own approach to set-pieces too. @ESPNFC

On today’s game v Union? “I’ve had a great time in the Championship, so I know all about this!”

On Diaz’s goal? “Of the chances he had, that was definitely the most difficult one.”

Vincent Kompany speaks to us on @ESPNFC after Bayern’s 16-game winning run ended in Berlin.

“It was my mistake for the second goal. I was just itching to get a chance at the end there.”

Harry Kane after Union Berlin 2-2 Bayern Munich and a word too on Luis Diaz’s “special” goal. @espnfc-m.bsky.social

NEIN.

In Berlin today for ESPN. Union Berlin-Bayern. Sure, Bayern have won 16 in a row but can they do it at the old forestry? (Yes. Yes they probably can.)
November 8, 2025 at 11:53 AM
Also. The Club Brugge DJ. We need to have a word about the Club Brugge DJ.
November 6, 2025 at 12:13 PM
Club Brugge-Barcelona last night was wild. Outstanding result for Brugge especially given that five of their starting 11 were 21 or younger last night. Getting to see Lamine Yamal do Lamine Yamal things, live, is also a special experience

“Scary for the Bundesliga” - Thomas Hitzlsperger’s verdict after Bayern 3-0 Leverkusen. @espnfc-m.bsky.social
November 2, 2025 at 8:25 AM
“Plenty of learning because when we have a bad half, I’m having to hear it for two weeks from you!”

Coach Vincent Kompany in mischievous form, again, after Bayern Munich cruised to a 3-0 win over Leverkusen. A mention for Burnley there too. @espnfc-m.bsky.social

I was pointing to the little Bayern badge…he might have seen Dortmund or Deutschland haha
October 30, 2025 at 8:30 AM
I thought Bayern Munich wobbled last night in Köln. Vincent Kompany disagreed!

*And I did not say this to him after the BVB game 😅 @espnfc-m.bsky.social

Harry Kane on good form on and off the pitch. Two goals in Bayern Munich’s 4-1 win at Köln.

Had some praise too for fellow Englishman and assistant coach Aaron Danks. @espnfc-m.bsky.social

Josephine Henning: “You need to be more German.”
Georgia Stanway: “Full English!” 🤣
