#daggerheart friends, how would you fix this homebrewed Dread card? It's a bit powerful as-is.

Reworked the Champion class from last week. Embracing Valor & Dread as the domains, and swapping off Valor & Bone since the Brawler already uses those.

1st - Mass Effect

Single greatest Sci-fi IP in the world if you ask me. It's an incredible journey start to finish. An open galaxy that feels reactive and interesting. I genuinely think Mass Effect is a life changing series everyone should play through once.

2nd - Red Dead Redemption 2

RDR2 has the most satisfying survival mechanics I've ever seen, the kind of stuff you'd have to mod into a lesser game. The world feels alive and lived in, and I genuinely care about the connections Arthur makes with the people around him every time I play.

3rd - The Outlast Trials

The organic horror of Outlast Trials is so awesome. There aren't scripted scares, there's just you, your friends, an objective, and murderers. I love how much this game trusts you to sink or swim, how unrelenting it's higher difficulties are, and how great the dialog is.

4th - Cyberpunk: 2077

Some games I play for the challenge. Some games I play for the power trip. Cyberpunk is the best "power trip" game I've ever played. Night City is incredible, I never get tired of it. Exploring different builds is always so fun. I could play 2077 until 2077 and be content.

5th - Hunt: Showdown

The sound design and atmosphere of Hunt is incomparable. I've played this game for almost 7 years now and there is nothing else like it. Nothing that gives me the white knuckle adrenaline feeling that I get from close firefights in Hunt.

6th - Assassin's Creed: Black Flag

The open world is fantastic, the combat is fluid, the characters are fun. The worst parts are the first person segments you're forced to do, walking around a fake game studio. But hand on heart, I still know and sing some of the shanties in this game regularly.

7th - Secret of Mana

This game has aged poorly, even the remake isn't good, none of the sequels are great either. I don't blame you if you don't like it, but my grandma showed me this game on the SNES when I was a kid and it was my first exposure to fantasy and magic and "the heroes journey."

Someone on reddit posted an old binder of #D&D stuff from their local FLGS and a couple snapshots of the contents. This was my favorite. Just a little note for the DM that says:

"Look at dead thief and telekinesis my stuff back."

I started without a plan, just feeling it out. Now I think it's coming together. A cordoned off church that has become a place of devil worship, sort of feeling a "dracula's castle" vibe. Like, yes it's full of unspeakable evils, but also they just kinda want to be left alone.

Three days into #dungeon25 and I'm finally going to post about it.

"Room" #1 -- The entrance to a cursed mausoleum, with palisades still standing from the last undead outbreak.

"room" #2 -- A cemetery with no undisturbed plots and the gravekeepers hut.
