Totally understandable. When I have more of my series published, I might suggest it again. I plan for books 2 and 3 to lean much harder into the Scifi elements.

This resonates with me so much. My son is 13 and clashes with us constantly about authority, what he knows, and accepting what he doesn't.
Yet, when he isn't arguing, we get into great conversations about science, religion, video games, writing, etc.
