I give it a bit of grace on the script issues because it got badly affected by the writer’s strike.
I did quite like that the central conflict was around water though - I was doing a module at Uni around then, which said that control of water was likely to become the next source of major conflicts.

The trick is to find a really good chippy nearby, then just always get them from there.

I take the first (full) week in January off, so as everyone’s miserable coming back from their time off, I’m skipping off out the door to have a nice chilled one. Adults back at work, kids are back at school, and everywhere is a ghost town. It’s ace.

I thought it was fine. Similar plot-wise to Rise of the Silver Surfer, but takes far fewer risks. It does Galactus justice, at the very least.
It does feel like any sharp edges were shaved off it by the head honchos at Marvel who were just desperate for a hit.
