It doesn't seem to impact the overall responsiveness, so my thinking is that it's one or two really long running recusions that throw the whole thing off.

Oh my god it works
When my Unbound instances update their blocklists (once a week, with a day of randomised delay), they webhook a diff to Discord. And it works!

Current mystery: Why is the memory performance of my virtual machine about 1/4th that of booting the same Windows install directly? This is using static 1GiB hugepages as well.

Little sketch for those curious about the topology. One instance is elected as the leader, and the patroni health endpoint will return a 200 OK on that instance (and a 500 on followers) so HAProxy knows to only direct traffic to that instance.

There's always debate about how inclusive the term "bi" is, but I think I prefer the colours and frankly always felt it fit more and that it's inclusive.
