A writer's daily routine is to lie without meaning to. For example, 2 days ago I said I was going to finish my chapter. I was motivated, I swear! Well, guess what? I didn't write a single line. In fact, I got distracted and then, boom, I was doing something completely different! 😭😭

A writer's daily routine is to lie without meaning to. For example, 2 days ago I said I was going to finish my chapter. I was motivated, I swear! Well, guess what? I didn't write a single line. In fact, I got distracted and then, boom, I was doing something completely different! 😭😭

I like being able to track the number of words I've written each day. It gives me an idea of my progress. If my goal is to write 5k words and I'm getting close, I can gradually increase that number without putting pressure on myself 🥺

You know angst is good when, IRL, you feel your heart clench. If that's not the kind of emotion I provoke in my readers, then I've failed. For me, there's no greater compliment than someone telling me they cried while reading my story haha.💜

I should do something about the time zone and the best times to post my fics on ao3. Bc we probably all have different time zones, all it takes is for me to post at the wrong time for engagement and hits on my stories to drop significantly. But Idk what time would be best.😫

When you have several fics in progress, it's hard to choose which one to continue first. Sometimes, you even have ideas for fics you don't want to continue right now, but for those you would like to write, inspiration suddenly disappears. Like wtf 😫

That guilt you sometimes feel as a writer because you're not productive is horrible. It's like "why can't I write, when a few months ago I had a peak of inspiration and then boom nothing", it's the need to write without being able to do it that's frustrating.

After 2 months without writing anything, I started to get ideas here and there for the potential chapter 5 of my "wrecked" fic.🥹 [Itasaku] I'm so relieved, I thought my inspiration was lost.😭😭
