In regards question posed in the episode regarding popularity... It was kind of a big deal at the time... I think the delineation of when things became less stratified was Columbine; when the "popular" kids realized being that mean could be detrimental to their health.

I've made peace with being a bigger person. I've even grown to like it sometimes.
If you’re struggling with confidence, for whatever reason, there is something I would like you to know.
You are enough, exactly as you are. Keep pushing forward. The only way to truly fail is to quit.

Pushing past doubt, believing in yourself, and showing up anyway—that’s power.
I am currently trying to lose weight, but that has far more to do with trying to be as healthy as possible.
If I could stay at the same weight and just get the health benefits, I would be doing that.

Or in certain cases three times as hard to not be seen, although those are separate reasons.
But confidence doesn’t come from the world’s approval; it comes from deciding you deserve to take up space.
Strength isn’t just physical.

Growing up overweight can make confidence feel impossible. When the world sees you a certain way, so do you.
Internalized hatred is a difficult thing to manage and overcome. It is a hard road to walk.
It’s easy to believe you’re not enough, that you have to work twice as hard just to be seen.

Me? I have always been a big person. I know there was a time in my life that I weighed under 200 lbs but I do not remember it.
I have had to prove my worth every step of the way because of the stigma attached to people who are my size.

So I am pushing past my comfortable spot and taking a leap and learning lessons.
Take the leap; mistakes are just part of the journey. Be on a journey.

Scared that I'm not who I think I am. Not good enough, Not smart enough. Not talented.
If I don't try I can live with the good feeling of believing I can succeed, if I try.
But that is just a fantasy. I can only know the truth if I do.

The only true failure is never trying at all. Growth happens when we push past fear.
There is only good on the other side of fear. It is either a success or a lesson. Both are good.
What’s one thing you’ve been afraid to try? Truthfully I'm a bit scared to be going after my dreams.
March 7, 2025 at 9:49 PM
Perfection isn’t the goal. Progress comes from taking risks, even when we’re unsure.
It might be scary to be unsure but you have to think critically about what is making you afraid.
Most of the time what people end up being afraid of isn't something that will hurt them.
March 7, 2025 at 9:48 PM
I'd like to say it wasn't due to fear.
However, the truth is probably that I've lost out on a lot that way.
Mistakes aren’t the end; they’re proof that we’re trying, learning, and growing.
If you aren't growing then you're more than likely going backwards.

Try to live your values. Try to make someone smile. Try to get someone to giggle.
Can you think of one way you can create a positive impact today?
I know that I can. I'm doing it right now. Every effort counts.
March 6, 2025 at 12:49 PM
Kindness, courage, and speaking up all matter. Even the smallest action can inspire someone else.
Even if all it inspires is someone to be less cruel, that in itself is a positive change.
We all have the power to make a difference, but it starts with choosing to try.
March 6, 2025 at 12:49 PM
You don’t need to change the world overnight, small efforts can create ripples that go further than you think.
Every step, word, or breath makes changes in the world around you.
Positive actions lead to a better world. Negative actions don't.

Giving up guarantees failure, but perseverance keeps the door open for success.
What’s one challenge you’re pushing through right now?
Keep going. You can be unstoppable if you let yourself be.

The people who keep pushing, learning, and trying again are the ones who ultimately rise above.
Every challenge is just another chance to prove your resilience and grow stronger.
Get better. 1% better every day starts exponential results. It is just hard to see.

So take the risk, be bold, and create something only you can bring to the world.

Trying to build something that is me isn't easy. It means lots of learning.
Every misstep in your own path is still progress—because it’s leading to something unique.
Not everyone is going to like it, but not everyone likes me now.
It may be a risk, but it certainly is a risk worth taking.
March 4, 2025 at 12:42 PM
But real success comes from daring to be original, even if it means facing failure along the way.
That is the path I am trying to take, and admittedly, I'm sort of falling on my face.
Imitation may feel safer, but it will never lead to something truly yours.
