...over the course of the pandemic and no longer trusts doctors due to the pharmaceutical industry. Any doctors on here that could answer some questions that have come up so I can run them by him in the event of further conversation? I’m uneducated in the medical field, so it’s beyond me...

oh, I appreciate that, but it certainly wasn't your fault, so no apology necessary. ☺️ it was also about 10 years ago now. but it's become my argument against anti-vaxxers or anti-medicine people. doctors are educated for a reason, and I will always go by my doctor's advice for medical concerns.

my grandmother battled cancer for 15 years. when a doctor told her that her breast cancer would spread if she didn't have them removed, she held stronger to her pride than to the doctor's advice, and then it spread to her liver, from there to her bones, and finally her head. listen to your doctors.

I would really love to read something that highlights anarchist thought vs communist, particularly anything that provides commentary on Marx's lack of discussion on disability and human nature. Marx seemed to be under the old thought of human behavior being attributed to just environment.

It can get muddy depending on who you talk to. Different people have different political philosophies. But I agree on trying to find workable solutions in the modern world. It’s hard to not feel hopeless though given the current political climate.

Hmm…I would be concerned for this. There was a horribly failed libertarian establishment in New Hampshire. They got ran out by bears. 😆 But a true democracy probably wouldn’t have a president or monarch. More of a “round table” without a king.

Chomsky was a big read for me in school, but not an enjoyable one (he’s particularly dense). I’d like to know, however, what the approach to goods and services would be though, which is something rarely discussed, it seems. Trade and barter? But then you go back to tribalism, which has its own issue

Thank you for a bit of an explanation. I’m specifically interested in how anarchism ties in with anarcho-communism, and the approach to economy. Communism is an economic model, and there’s plenty of discourse on it (they loved writing essays). But both seem more “idealist” than something executable.

Zoe, I don’t know if you’ve done it yet, but I think a video comparing and contrasting anarchism vs communism would be super interesting, especially from your perspective. There’s an absurd amount of literature on different kinds of communism, so I’d love to see your educational take.
