Went to my first Christmas Burns Red concert and witnessed the following:

-Incredible performances from August Burns Red, Animals As Leaders, Boundaries, Left to Suffer, War of Ages, & Reverent
-A proposal in the middle of a mosh pit (she said yes)
-A crowd-surfing Grinch
-Indoor pyrotechnics

For some unknown reason, there was a huge spike in traffic for my website last month and this month.

I'm not complaining, but it is surprising.

1. The Callous Daoboys - I Don't Want to See You In Heaven

As a fan for the last 10 years, it has been amazing to watch this band evolve from album to album. This time, they swing for the fences & almost every track is a home run. This isn't just an album; it's a milestone for the band & the genre.

2. K-Pop Demon Hunters

From the moment I heard "How It's Done," I knew that this movie & its soundtrack were something special. It's a good thing K-Pop's soundtrack is so dang good and so dang catchy because my kids have watched this movie about 100 times (and listened to the soundtrack even more).

3. Igorrr - Amen

I had never heard of this artist/band before this release, but trust me when I say there's nothing in the world quite like it. Gautier Serre, the mastermind behind Igorrr, perfectly blends extreme metal, classical music, electronic beats for a heady brew of mind-bending music.

4. Sinners Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

Sinners was my favorite movie of 2025, and the soundtrack played a big role in my decision. I've never listened to the album front to back, but some of these tracks are absolutely timeless and have inspired me to dig into the folk and blues genres more.

While the year isn't quite over, I thought I would share my 5 favorite albums of 2025 (this doesn't include any VG OSTs).

5. Greyhaven - Keep It Quiet

While this album didn't impress me immediately, the more time I've spent with it, the more I appreciate the melodic direction the band took for it.

Last night, I played the shortest MTG Commander game of my life.

In 5 rounds, I learned to hate this card with a burning passion.

I added some new navigation to the website, specifically for my Reckoning of the Gods chapters.

This should hopefully make it easier for people to read the series.

For context, this is how long I have been working on my fantasy/mythology series, "Reckoning of the Gods":

15 years, 7 months, 8 days

I have written 686, 844 words (2,424 pages) for this one series alone.

I expect I will hit 1 million words by the time I finish all 5 books lol.

Please enjoy the next chapter from my fantasy/mythology series, #ReckoningoftheGods.

In Chapter 5, Vahl and his companions attempt to escape Clearbrook.

Went to Hershey Park for the first time in 10+ years yesterday, and it's still the sweetest place on Earth!

I doubt they will ever make another Die Hard movie, but if they do, I have the perfect title for it.

Finished watching "Bring Her Back" last night.

I'm somewhat wimpy when it comes to horror movies (especially possession movies), but there are a few scenes (and sounds) that are seared into my memory.

If you enjoy body horror, I highly recommend this film.

Every time that #DoomTheDarkAges wants me to pay attention to the story.

Has anyone else noticed personalized ads that use your face/likeness?

I don't know who thought this was a good idea, but this is one way to ensure I will never support your product/service/thing.

AI sucks.

I recently had one of my songs added to a Spotify playlist called NEW SEASON HITS. At first, I was elated because my monthly listeners skyrocketed, and one of my tracks reached 1,000 streams. Unfortunately, I discovered that this playlist was likely generated by AI, and the listens were bots.

Here's my pitch for Fallout 5 (even though I know it's probably two decades away).

Setting: Post-apocalyptic Disney World (Nuka World) in the nuclear winter (with snow)

Music: Classic Christmas music (think Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole, etc.)

Map: Includes Orlando, Disney World, and Cape Canaveral.

There is some kind of Godzilla battle going on, and I’m not sure who is winning.
