Cooker/server from nicely seasoned birch.

It was a cold and damp Sunday (including snow) so we decided to go for a ride and explore a new logging road...found some nice views and salvaged some nice wood from the slash piles!

Hand carved birch root burl vessels and spoon.

They were building a new logging road near our woodlot and we found 4 birch root burls...unfortunately ripped out of the ground by heavy equipment so lots of damaged wood - but got a few nice pieces.
