Father, husband, son & educator (he/him).
ON, Canada… Trying to reconnect with community from old bird app.

Love your neighbour, (especially those you disagree with or find difficult to love).
There are few actions Canadians are taking collectively in response to T’s unjustified tarrifs like re-orienting our tourism dollars - most impactfully to #Canada 🇨🇦

I’d love to again explore America’s beautiful land once their official stance towards us shifts from designed economic harm.

Too funny. Many “funny” T moments aren’t due to the impact/harm on the vulnerable.

This example of incompetence with no direct harm, that remains atop my list of gaffs. For years, the door in these photos was my ironic virtual meeting background.

Jan 6th horrors were unimaginable on this day.

#BlueJays are already winners.

Humbly led by Schneider towards a collegiality culture.

Good, kind, ethical men experiencing success. Overcoming low expectations. Celebrating each other. The good of the team above each’s own.

Thx @BlueJays for being a bright light during challenging times. 🇨🇦

Whoever was behind the decision to allow Canada to watch the Blue Jays playoff run narrated by the Sportsnet broadcast team (vs. American network) - thank you. #Canada #ElbowsUp #BlueJays

Great conversation between CBC’s Paul Hunter & Mike Myers. First aired June ‘25

I’m struck by Myers’ gratitude for the generosity & welcome his family experienced as immigrants

Supporting a family member through hip replacement surgery, I am grateful for the professionalism #Brantford General Hospital’s medical and non-medical staff.

Procedure available at no cost (other than parking) due to #Canada public healthcare. #CanadaSky #CanPoli #OnPoli 🇨🇦 #Ontario

To invest in #Canada, I subscribed to @theglobeandmail.com this summer & don’t regret it.

Legitimate, reliable Canadian journalism faces unprecedented financial pressures. Fact-checked information is more important than ever.

Where should I subscribe next/also? #CanadaSky #CanadaStrong #ElbowsUp

Globe and Mail article: “In June and July, more American residents crossed into this country than Canadian residents who were returning from travel to the U.S. – a sharp reversal…” 🇨🇦 💪🏼

18 years old, from Burlington Ontario. 🇨🇦

Started the season ranked below 300. Entered the tournament ranked 85. Off to the U.S. Open!

Regardless of the outcome of tonight’s final, Victoria Mboko is one of the best news Canadian stories of the summer.

6PM tonight on Sportsnet.

Sample advocacy email for preferred US businesses:

“I’m Canadian & a customer of yours.

To support Canada’s economy amidst the President’s unjust tariffs, I won’t be a customer & won’t travel to USA until a respectful relationship resumes.

I wish you well & hope this season is short.” #ElbowsUp 🇨🇦

Are you a Canadian who has an upcoming USA trip that you can’t cancel?

Consider leaving one of these with a generous tip as you use services. Americans need to know what business they are losing due to President Trump’s tariff threats & disrespectful conduct towards our nation & our leaders.

A heavy title for an accessible description of ways & reasons that children are experiencing more anxiety & depression.

Haidt’s theory is that children’s overprotection in the real world & under-protection in the virtual world are to blame (risk is greatest for tweens & teens.)

If you live in Southern Ontario, I strongly encourage spending the next hour and a bit outside.

SO beautiful!

Spring Break ends today in Ontario. First day back is often intense as students & colleagues share stories of exciting adventures while others lament a hard week - thrilled to return.

Let’s be gentle, slow to lead with stories of grandeur; instead focusing on how good it is to reconnect. #EduSky
