Just like my Mori Calliope work, this is a redraw/reimagining of an illustration I made back in 2021.

I wanted something really artsy so I took inspiration from Michaelangelo's "La Pieta". #ameliaRT

Unfortunately by the time I finished this work, I received the news that Amelia Watson was leaving #Hololive

Before and after line cleanup. I initially render the color layers first before combining the rough line layers and blending them in, resulting to something more organic than hard lineart.

WIP Progress (March-August 2024).

It was a project I had zero confidence on completing, but I got back to it incrementally over the following months
