Last week on a really rough day, I broke my favorite coffee mug. Coincidentally that day, my amazing husband was close to the gift shop we got it from originally so he went out of his way to replace it with a new one that he surprised me with. This is just one of the many many reasons he is my hero❤️

Games are supposed to be fantasy. A freaking escape from the grim reality of the world around us crumbling to chaos. Games aren't meant to mimic reality. Does anyone even know what fantasy actually means anymore? Fantasy: imagining the impossible & improbable. (Oxford dictionary) Wow!

If a company has a Bible reference as their business name, avoid them at all costs. It won't be worth your time and definitely not worth your money. Keep that goddamn religious inclination private like that "holy book" instructs. It literally couldn't be any more clear than outright saying that 🙄

Florida goes completely bonkers with fireworks on New Year's Eve. They started at 6pm and continue even now. Very much looking forward to when they are done. There are a lot of veterans and animals for whom tonight is traumatic and difficult. My heart goes out to them

I've learned that a beautiful, strong, warm hearted friend of mine passed away on Christmas day. Someone shared a detail about her that I was unaware of as were many others. It has made me stop and reflect on my growing up years. A lot more is clear now. I wonder how many in my past chose singlehood

Finally got a little Holiday cheer put out in the house. This year held a lot of changes including a cross country move and all the chaos that brings, so this little ray of brightness and a quiet, relaxing holiday at home with my amazing, loving partner make the season all I could ask for 🌲
