Toujours du même avis après le débat anglais avec un gap de 10 minutes entre les chrono des partis ?

Instead of a weak tax cut that won’t cover a month of rent and would benefits mostly rich people, why aren’t we tackling the country debt and investing in programs that will give a lot of value to families?

Maybe outside Quebec. In Quebec a lot of ridings have strong Bloc candidates.

We need to get rid of FPTP.

He had 20 years to build up a solid case for it. If it was his dream he hasn’t shown it yet.

The fact that PP wasted time is his own problem. He still had more time.

Agree that Carney lost some time being talked over. But not 10 minutes.

This simply shows where the issue was. Yesterday a mic was cut. Should had happened a couple of time tonight.

Singh was constantly being shut down by the moderator and ended up with far less time than Carney or Poilievre.

Can’t really blame him for trying to get what he had a right to. Blame CBC for this.
April 18, 2025 at 1:54 AM
Would you really feel OK with a party from only one province forming the government?
April 18, 2025 at 1:52 AM
Trudeau wasn’t at tonight’s debate? Poilievre never stopped mentioning his name…
April 18, 2025 at 1:51 AM
To be clear : my top complaint is against the moderator for the state of the debate. Gave way too much time to Carney and Poilievre. Carney did not had to fight to get time.
April 18, 2025 at 1:49 AM
He didn’t need to because the moderator was doing it for him. That speaking time imbalance is a shame.

Every majority government of the last 20 years were a disaster. Uncontrolled expenses, multiple gifts to their friends, laws that were forced on people even without any public support.

Minority and coalitions are the norma in a lot of countries without any big issues. Pretty sure we can do it too.
April 18, 2025 at 1:34 AM
He tried and he was shut down. That debate moderator is a sellout.
April 18, 2025 at 12:48 AM
Again, why do the federal government get involved in that? Stop giving provinces money, have them stand up by themselves instead of cutting those budgets again and again. Provinces will continue to pull money from the federal as long as the federal agrees to bail them out.
April 18, 2025 at 12:42 AM
Or, even better : stop intruding in provincial responsibilities. Lower federal taxes, raise provincial taxes, and have people hold their provincial governments responsible for the mess.
April 18, 2025 at 12:31 AM
Let’s be honest, if one province could lead the whole country, that would be an issue…

Hint : it could happen if ridings are splits equally between all parties outside Quebec and Quebec is 100% Bloc. Which realistically can’t happen. And shouldn’t.
April 18, 2025 at 12:24 AM
Yes! Debates are never perfect, I’m mostly mad at the fact that yesterday people got angry at YFB getting 1 minute more than others to talk, yet no one talks about tonight issue.
April 18, 2025 at 12:21 AM
Yesterday people were mad that YFB had an extra minute.
April 18, 2025 at 12:17 AM
See, they clearly need French-speaking people to lead things. Bloc majoritaire! (Just joking here 😅)
